The Club has a Code of Conduct for its members and this code sets outs the club’s policies and expectations around behaviour.
As a club we are committed to promoting and strengthening the positive image of rugby and its participants in New Zealand. Parklands Rugby Football Club’s Code of Conduct seeks to ensure all players, coaches, and spectators maintain a safe, fair, and welcoming environment. It clearly outlines acceptable behaviour on and off the pitch to promote the core values of the sport: teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline, and sportsmanship.
We as a club are committed to the ethics of:
Player Safety: Places the physical and mental well-being of all participants above everything else.
Respect for Officials: Demands that all members accept referee decisions without argument or abuse.
Zero Tolerance: Bans bullying, harassment, and discrimination based on gender, race, or ability
These principals are embedded in our Club Code of Conduct, and we have a moral responsibility to address such behaviours that commonly offend reasonable community standards, or which is against the law by way of racial vilification, sexual harassment, criminal or common assault.
Your support in ensuring the Club’s standing in our community remains strong is appreciated.
